Did you know:
     - Infants under 1 are more likely to experience homelessness than people of any other age.
     - After infants, children ages 1-5 are the second most likely to experience homelessness.
     - In a typical school year, over 3000 children enrolled in Multnomah County school districts are listed as homeless.
     - FPME consistently has over 400 people on our waitlist.

So what are we doing about it?
     - Opening a new family shelter site by January 2027 in partnership with Grace Memorial Episcopal Church

- Doubling our operational capacity to serve twice as many families in shelter, including hiring a new case manager.

- Assisting 30 families per year transition from shelter to stable housing, a 100% increase from our current outcomes.

Family Promise of Metro East invites you to join a circle of visionary donors making leadership gifts over three years.

  • $100,000 - Funding for a new case manager to help hundreds of family members move toward long-term housing stability
  • $50,000 - Covers a significant portion of the new shelter's annual rent
  • $25,000 - Helps over 20 families remain safely housed through eviction prevention
  • $15,000 - Keeps new shelter safe and welcoming through maintenance and repairs
  • $10,000 - Equips families with essential household supplies for dignity and stability
  • $5,000 - Supports the infrastructure for our expansion to serve more families
  • $2,500 - Covers the gas bill to help keep the new shelter site open 365 days a year
  • $1,000 - Provides critical support for us to help twice as many families find safety, stability and a path to home
